Identifying and Accommodating Student Needs
As faculty and graduate instructors seeking to balance our own work with the responsibilities of teaching, responding to the unique needs of individual students can be challenging – even overwhelming. However, to be caring and competent instructors, it is important that we learn how to recognize and appropriately respond to special situations as they arise. The objective of this roundtable discussion is to identify some of these needs and to discuss how we can or should do in response to them.
