Taking Writing Online
This workshop focuses on the possibilities for using writing within an online or hybrid course, as well as incorporating online writing into a traditional face-to-face course. We'll discuss the potential benefits of recreating writing assignments for an online environment, and possibilities for moving various aspects of the writing process (both the assignment and evaluation of writing, and, for students, the actual creation of texts) online. Attendees can expect to leave the workshop with knowledge of a variety of tools for engaging with writing in an electronically mediated environment.
