Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - 2:00 - 4:00pm, SUB
If you wish to attend please send message to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be contacted with updated information.
This workshop will introduce “clickers” and illustrate the well-documented instructional methods that add learning value to classes. See how to engage students to discuss what they are learning even (especially!) in large lecture halls. Research shows that effective teaching with classroom response systems improves student learning, increases attendance, and improves student attitudes toward the course. The workshop includes a panel discussion led by veteran clicker users. Participants will receive a booklet summarizing clicker teaching methods including sample clicker questions.
Refreshments will be served.
