Outstanding Staff & Workgroup Award Information

Outstanding Staff & Workgroup Award Recipients for 2011

The Provost's Committee for Staff is proud to announce the recipients of this year's awards. The Outstanding Staff Award nominations review resulted in three very deserving recipients in this category. They are (in alphabetical order): Juan Escarsega (UNM PPD), Lisa Stewart (School of Architecture and Planning), and Jim Todd (Recreational Services).

There were a surprising number of nominations for the workgroup recognition this year; however, one group came out on top. The School of Architecture and Planning Custodial Team: Maria Bolivar and Irma Ponce. Ms. Bolivar and Ms. Ponce ensure that the School of Architecture and Planning is a thing of beauty every day and have proven to be worthy of special recognition.

All recipients were honored at a ceremony on April 29, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the University House (1901 Roma NE). This year's scholarship recipients will also be recognized. Congratulations go out to the recipients and ALL our nominees. Thank you and continue your outstanding work!
