LIBROS
is the online catalog of the UNM General Library. It provides access to books and journals owned by the UNM Libraries and New Mexico member institutions. Parts of the library's collection must still be accessed using the traditional card catalog. For materials not located in LIBROS contact InterLibrary Loan.

SPECIALIZED DATABASES:

Remote access is available to UNM students, staff, and faculty for EBSCOhost, Firstsearch, and ProQuest.
Arts & Humanities Citation Index  UNM only
indexes journals in the arts and humanities providing citations and some full text articles.
Historical Abstracts
Index and abstracting service of historical journals covering world history except North America from 1450-the present. Coverage extends from 1969-.
Humanities Abstracts UNM only
indexes journal articles and reviews of books, plays, and radio & TV programs.
LLBA -- Linguistics & Languages Abstracts UNM only
abstracts articles from 2000 serials published worldwide covering linguistics and all languages. Also includes coverage of recent books, enhanced dissertation listings, and bibliographic citations for book reviews.
MLA Bibliography  UNM only
provides extensive coverage of journals on literature, languages, linguistics, and folklore.

Biography and Genealogy Master Index
indexes biographical information in biographical dictionaries on general and specific subjects.
FirstSearch
a collection of over sixty databases indexing articles, theses, disserations, books, in the fine & applied arts, humanities, social sciences, science, and technology.
EBSCOHost-Academic Search FULLTEXT Elite
abstracts and indexes over 3,500 journals and features full text articles for over 1,200 journals since1990.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe
provides full text sources in categories of News, Business, Legal, Medical and Reference.
Project Muse
contains full text index to selected humanities and social science journals.
ProQuest
indexes over 2,200 multi-disciplinary sources, of which 1,400 are full text. Funded by the New Mexico State Library.
SocSciAbs  (Social Sciences Abstracts)
indexes numerous periodicals and is an excellent resource for cultural interaction topics.
Social SciSearch
indexes 1700 worldwide journals in a broad range of social science disciplines. Coverage is from 1990 to the present.
UnCover
indexes approximately 17,000 multidisciplinary magazines and journals published since the fall of 1988.
