abstracts journals, books, book chapters, dissertations, and reviews of books and other media providing international coverage. Includes linguistics (nature and structure of human speech); language (speech sounds, sentence and word structure, meaning in language forms, spelling, phonetics); speech, language, and hearing pathology. Subjects include education, language, linguistics, neurology, psychology.
MLA  (Literature, Language, & Folklore)
provides extensive indexing of journals on literature, language, linguistics and folklore.
MEDLINE  (Medical Journal articles)
abstracts articles and reports from over 9000 sources covering the areas of health and medicine.
PsycINFO  (1887 to present)
indexes journal articles, chapters, books, dissertations, and reports on psychology and related subject areas.

Abstracts and indexing for over 3,500 journals and features full text articles for over 1,500 journals since1990.
FirstSearch
65 databases covering a broad range of topics witih the humanities, social sciences, science, and education. Some contain full text materials.
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe
Full textand indexing for sources in the categories of News, Business, Legal, Medical and Reference.
ProQuest
Over 2,200 multi-disciplinary sources, of which 1,400 are full text. This service is funded by the New Mexico State Library.Remote access is available to UNM users with CIRT accounts.
