My dissertation examines how transnational advocacy networks engage the trade-based mechanisms meant to protect the rights of workers in countries of the South. My research and teaching interests also include international institutions and global governance, economic interdependence and trade integration, political and economic development among Latin American States, and the politics of Mexico.
