UNM Computer & Peripheral Price Agreements

The University of New Mexico has access to Price Agreements for PCs and related peripherals. The University of New Mexico can utilize existing GSA, SPD and Educational PA's from the Federal and New Mexico State agencies or Educational pricing (below GSA or SPD contract pricing) from certain private sector companies.

UNM departments may purchase from the Price Agreements listed without the formal bid process. UNM Departments may also buy any of the brand names listed from other suppliers, but the Purchasing Department may have to either obtain multiple quotes or exercise the formal bid process dependant upon the dollar amount.

In the case of a department purchasing two or more items that are covered by different suppliers under different PA's, the items may be combined into one order from the supplier who has the PA for the highest priced item provided that the cost of the additional items do not exceed the cost of issuing a second PO.

Most of the suppliers offer UNM pricing to UNM employees and students making personal purchases. In the case of a personal purchase, the supplier may request verification of UNM association by the UNM ID card.
