In order to use the Purchasing Card to purchase chemicals, each Cardholder must enter the purchase in the ICID (Interactive Chemical Inventory Database). This process will be audited through the Purchasing Department to ensure compliance. Each Cardholder must include the PCard Submission Label as detailed in the ICID Training Manual with their reconciliation for all purchases of hazardous or radioactive materials.
The ICID instruction manual will assist you in using the system and will show you how to register. To access the ICID software and the instruction manual, go to srs.unm.edu and click on Chemical Hygiene and UNM Interactive Chemical Database on the bottom of the page.
