A system has been developed that will allow the University to accomplish the goals listed in the sections previous. The Department of Safety & Risk Services needs the assistance of all Cardholders, the General Accounting Department, and the Purchasing Department to ensure the success of this program. A tracking system has been developed and is maintained by Safety & Risk Services. Safety & Risk Services must be notified of all purchases of hazardous chemicals and radioactive materials as defined above. This will be accomplished by entering the purchase of hazardous or radioactive materials in the ICID Software (Interactive Chemical Inventory Database) administered by SRS.
