In his research and writing, Rich Wood (author of Faith in Action: Religion, Race, and Democratic Organizing in America) examines the religious underpinnings of democratic life. As director of UNM’s Religious Studies Program, he has focused on building dialogue between the university and faith communities around New Mexico.
