Dr. Geppert's interests are diverse and range from psychopharmacology to spirituality and are centered on teaching. She is the director of the consultation services at the VA hospital where she enjoys helping senior residents learn to integrate medicine, psychiatry, and ethics. She also teaches ethics and professionalism in the medical school and religion and ethics in the religious studies program at the University of New Mexico. Her clinical work is in the areas of mood and substance use disorders, psychosomatic medicine and chronic pain.
