In Massawa, Eritrea (Ethiopia)on the Red Sea after stopping in Aden, Yemen 


this part of the trip was  exciting.. we were going home.  some of these place name have become  more familiar in these days

In New York City after travelling through the Suez Canal.Stopped in Port Said, Egypt, then into the Mediterranean, past Gibralter, across the Atlantic to Boston, Mass., USA!! 

going through the Suezs Canal was interesting.. We had boat boys come to help us. I was glad that i could speak Norwsegian.  the boat boy I talked to hated the Americans.. He saw us people who took away there land and gave it to the People to make Israel..  mayb e more about this later..

through the canal and acrosss the med and past the rock of Gibraltor.. the Atlanic ocean was a little rougher that what we were used to . when we got to Boston and the to New York the custom people were pretty thuough. I'm sure not like they are in this time.   But we got off and finally checked into the Y.. something cheap  we wanted to save our few bucks.

Left NYC by bus. About a week later, arrived in Winfield, Kansas. Winfield here we come..
I wish more people caoul have this experience.  they would appreciate our country more.
