Will Kroth, son of Henry and Elizabeth Harford, was born in Louisville, Kentucky, January 16, 1851. After his mother's death, he came with his father to Easton, Kansas. His father married and Will lived with him and his step-mother, Louisiana.
As the family grew, the oldest son took various work away from home and he later left the vicinity to work in other states. For many, many years he was not in touch with his family and it was a great joy that his whereabouts was discovered by his son Henry. Henry had searched long before finding him in Antimony, Arkansas, in 1908.
