Johann Heinrich Groth migrated to America in June, 1840. He married Elizabeth Harford in Louisville, Kentucky, and had one son, William Kroth. After her death, Henry moved to Leavenworth County, Kansas, and lived at Easton, Kansas, from 1855 to 1869. At this time he moved to Jackson County, Kansas, near Buck's Grove.

HENRY KROTH, November 2, 1819 - August 5, 1908, married (Elizabeth Harford) and on September 4, 1856, married (Louisiana Loughmiller) October 7, 1838 - September 15, 1906.

      3. Henry Lewis Kroth, born in 1906, married Kathleen Pike. He is Captain on the Ada, Oklahoma, Police Force. Resides at 321 East 16th, Ada, Oklahoma.
