Projecting Faith Based Power Nationally:

This research analyzes how community organizing, and especially the recent work of the PICO National Network, has worked to reshape national policy on healthcare, financial reform, the housing crisis, immigration, and public education. Recent work focused on the strategic capacity and internal network structure of the PICO “New Voices” Initiative, the first serious faith-based community organizing effort to project power at the national level. Current work strives to build a network of intellectuals and high-level practitioners to sustain the strategic & analytic work required for long-term democratic impact on American society.
