Cecy Kuruvilla

Cecy Kuruvilla of Sodexho is responsible for creating and implementing the education market's diversity and inclusion strategies, and ensuring that they are aligned with Sodexho's corporate diversity strategy and related programs. As the Market Senior Director of Diversity, Cecy reports to the market president and works closely with division business leaders and human resources to provide guidance, resources, tools and actions that advance business diversity goals and division business plans.

During her keynote address, Cecy will describe Sodexho's diversity and inclusion journey. She will open Sodexho's playbook and share key staff development strategies with us. Cecy will highlight Sodexho's approach to the new generational challenges affecting business and higher education.

Edward Mazria is an internationally recognized architect, author, and educator, with a long and distinguished career. His published materials include The Passive Solar Energy Book, published by Rodale Press. His numerous articles and building design innovations have appeared in On Earth Magazine, Architecture, Metropolis, Architectural Record, Landscape Architecture, Architectural Digest, Solar Today, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times.

Mr. Mazria has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Ed has taught architecture at the University of New Mexico, at the University of Oregon, UCLA, and the University of Colorado-Denver. His most recent undertaking, Architecture 2030, and The 2030 Challenge, is a global movement whose mission is to address the current climate crisis. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including American Institute of Architects (AIA) Design Awards, AIA Design Innovation Award, Commercial Building Award from the Department of Energy, the "Pioneer Award" from the American Solar Energy Society, and an Outstanding Planning Award from the American Planning Association. He is a senior fellow of the Design Futures Council.

Mr. Mazria is currently the senior principal at Mazria, Inc., an architecture and planning firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
