Ned
O'Malia first drove the length of Route 66 in a 1957 Chevrolet convertible
in 1964 and the love affair has continued since. He also earned a Ph.D.
in Asian Religion. Ned is also a NM State Fair Food Judge, Tour Director,
accomplished bread baker, Chinese food chef, parent, actor, former CBS weatherman,
and world traveler. Ned has taught in the UHP for 16 years, and enjoys developing
new seminars.

Ashlee S. Othick, Teaching Assistant, Regent's Scholar, Rana Rose Adler
award recipient, noted cross country runner first travelled "The Mother
Road" a few years ago. She researched gas stations and chocolate malts.
The Route captured Ashlee and has drawn her back many times. Dr. Ashlee
Othick, DVM, to be, is excited and ready to share her insights, road lore,
gas station tales, road mysteries, and locations of great malt shops with
a new group of students.
