Meeting Locations

The meeting is being held at the Radisson Hotel and Water Park, Carlisle Blvd, Albuquerque, NE.  In addition, special sessions will be held at the Mid-Town location of New Mexico Sports and Wellness (NM S&W).  The Mid-Town location of NM S&W is immediately behind the Radisson Hotel, as shown on the map below.  These locations provide an unusual and exciting mesh between theory and practice for the 2011 conference.

Radisson Hotel and Water Park

The Radisson Hotel and Water Park (505 888-3311) is located on Carlisle Blvd near I-40, Albuquerque, NE, NM.  The special room rates (plus tax) for the conference are as follows:

Standard king  or double queen bed room: $89/night for 1 to 4 occupancy.  Students, this means a room cost of only $22:25 per person per night for a group of 4!

Executive king: $129/night

Executive double queen: $129/night

Loft suite: $189/night

Water Park discount: $24:95

A limited number of Radisson rooms are reserved for this conference.  Such room holds are released for general sale to the public on September 1, 2011.  Thus, make sure you reserve your room early!

There are also other hotels close to the Radisson with similar or lower room rates, as shown on the map above and with details below.  Nevertheless, the quad occupancy of the Radisson makes staying at the Radisson, and therefore the conference location, a very affordable option for all attendees.

Hampton Inn Albuquerque-University-Midtown. 2300 Carlisle Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, NM (505) 246-2255: ~$85/night

Motel 6 Albuquerque-Carlisle. 3400 Prospect Ave, NE, Albuquerque, (505) 883-8813: ~$30/night

Residence Inn, Albuquerque. 3300 Prospect Ave, NE, Albuquerque, (505) 881-2661: ~$99/night

New Mexico Sports and Wellness - MidTown

New Mexico Sports and Wellness at Midtown is an excellent fitness/sports/recreational/therapeutic facility located behind the Radisson Hotel and Water Park.  Thanks to the support of this organization, ASEP is able to offer "hands-on" sessions that are not possible at a typical exercise physiology conference.  See the Agenda for details.
