Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University, whose English department and other programs host a dozen poets and novelists. The environmental essayist, Gary Nabhan, works in their program on the Colorado plateau. Every summer, NAU offers a number of literary offerings on Southwestern literature and writing. |
