The City has an opening for a Planner II, full-time benefited, working with the Community Dev. Dept., Planning Div. Duties include: coord. development review proj.; negotiate directly with developers and design prof. in project design evolution; implement Citys Comprehensive Plan, zoning standards, design review guidelines and site development policies. Thorough knowledge of the dev. process and strong oral and written comm. skills. Hiring salary: $38,355 - $41,301 depending on qual. Min. qual.: Masters in Urban and Regional Planning or related field, and 2 years exp. in a public planning agency; or Bachelors in Planning or a design field with 3-5 years of directly related exp.; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
