Section, and one PT hourly position avail. in the Advance Planning Section of the Community Development Dept. working on open space issues. The PT, hourly position involves working approx. 17 hours p/wk thru 6/98, and approx 8hrs per wk beginning 7/98 thru 6/99. Responsibilities for the developmnt psns. include: Performing a variety of technical and professional tasks in support of the work of the Planning and Community Developmt. Dept. The open space psn will be responsible for providing assistance to the COSCA Coordinator on open space planning and management tasks. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT POSITIONS: Equiv. to a BA degree from an accredited college or university w/major work in planning, architecture, building inspection technology, landscape architecture, geography or a related field. Prior exp. in a municipal or county planning dept. is preferred. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OPEN SPACE POSITIONS: Equiv. to a BA degree from a accredited college or university w/major work in environmental studies, geography, landscape architecture or related field. Prior exp. in open planning and mgmt., environmental planning, or real estate is preferred. Both positions require possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
