4-H & FAMILY LIVING
Cooperative Extension, Washington State University, is seeking applicants for a permanent, tenure - track extension 4-H youth development/family living educator.
This position is located in Port Orchard, WA. The extension educator will provide leadership and vision for a program to help youth develop positive self-esteem and life skills.
Required qualifications: Master's with rural, suburban and urban audiences; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using oral, written and listening skills. Highly desired qualifications:
experience in Cooperative Extension, especially 4-H and/or family living programs; demonstrated competency and skills in using electronic communication equipment and computers for extension and daily work activities.
Desired qualifications: academic training or experience in youth development, family living, education, volunteer management, guidance and/or other related field; experience in volunteer management (recruitment, trainingand placement);
