PLANNER I
The City of Topeka is seeking qualified candidates for a Planner I. Responsibilities include maintaining electronic data systems to provide census and demographic information, building and demolition permits, graphic information and other statistical or quantitative data for planning functions. Translates and analyzes technical data for long range planning. Conducts field surveys
and verifies information for analysis of existing conditions. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in Urban Planning or a related field and a Master's Degree in Urban Planning. (Four years experience in Municipal planning may be substituted for the Master's Degree).
