FOR YAVAPAI COUNTY GOVERNMENT. POSITION LOCATED IN COTTONWOOD, ARIZONA. BEGINNING SALARY $32,767 ANNUALLY. Minimum qualifications include: Sixty (60) semester hours of applicable college level course work in urban or regional planning. Prefer candidates with a degree in planning or related field. Typical duties include but not limited to: processing rezoning applications, special use permits, complex development review cases, review adjacent zoning and relevant factors; prepares reports and special studies as required. Computer and GIS experience preferred. Candidates must have a working knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of community planning and zoning. Candidates must
have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public; communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
