SENIOR PLANNER (Salary range: $28,380 - $37,745). The Flathead Regional Development Office (FRDO) serves as the combined planning office for Flathead County and the cities of Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls, Montana. The county encompasses the beautiful Flathead Valley and includes the Big Mountain Ski Resort, seven public golf courses, Flathead Lake, and is the gateway to Glacier National Park. FRDO anticipates an opening for a Senior Planner who has a strong background in current and long range planning. The office operates in a Microsoft Word for Windows 95 environment. GIS background in GEO/SQL and AutoCad 13 is desirable. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s Degree in regional planning and four (4) years of professional experience in planning, or a Master's degree in planning or related field and two (2) years of professional experience in planning.
