Each year, the University of New Mexico may nominate student candidates for recognition of one of the most prestigious awards the academic community can bestow — selection to Who’s Who Among Students. Nomination criteria include academic record, participation and leadership in academic and co-curricular activities, service to the community or University, and potential for future achievement. This exclusive honor is conferred by more than 2,842 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and is symbolized by the presentation of an award certificate at a reception in February.
1. Applicant must be currently enrolled at the University of New Mexico
2. Applicant must be a junior or senior (at least 60 credit hours earned) or a graduate student in good academic standing with their college
3. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
There is no fee for applying or selection and the deadline for application for this year's recognition is December 2nd, 2013 by 5:00 pm to the Student Activities Center, SUB room 1018. For more information, please call 277-4706.
