SUB Room 1018, Student Activities Center
Lobo's Got Talent is UNM's annual UNM student talent show. Applications are available now in the Additional Information of this event posting or in SUB Room 1018. UNM students may showcase any variety of talents and compete for cash prizes of $500 (1st), $350 (2nd), $150 (3rd) and $100 (Audience Choice) sponsored by Lobo Village and Casas del Rio. Only the first 32 UNM Students to register are guaranteed an auction. Audition nights are Monday, November 7th and Tuesday, November 8th. The final show is Friday, November 11th. Previous participants in the past have done slam poetry, dance, singing, guitar, piano, theater, martial arts, juggling and the obscure (hula hooping, while solving a rubiks cube and reciting the first 300 digits of pi). Applications are due no later than November 2nd. but don't forget, only the first 32 are guaranteed spots.
ASUNM Office, SUB Room 1016
Fall 2016 ASUNM Election packets are now available in SUB Room 1016, election.unm.edu, or in the Additional Information portion of this event listing. Please note, the Election Code is also included in the Additional Information section and should be reviewed before campaigning. The Fall 2016 ASUNM Election is for 10 senate positions. The deadline for applying is Monday, October 31st by 5:00 pm to the ASUNM Office (SUB 1016). The general election will be held on Wednesday, November 16th. If you have any additional questions, please email the Elections Commission at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join dozens of other UNM Student Organizations in participating in UNM's oldest student-run campus tradition: Hanging of the Greens! Submit an application today to be part of this amazing event! Student organizations will be provided with training and supplies to set up luminarias on a campus site. The day of the event is Friday, December 2nd, 2016 and the evening caroling will be open to the public. Site fees cover the cost of supplies!
Applications are due November 11th to the Student Activities Center (SUB room 1018).
