NetIDs are available for Chartered Student Organizations (Student Clubs). These NetIDs may be used for e-mail, space for a web page, and file storage.
BEFORE YOU START THIS ONLINE REQUEST - Check with the Student Activities Center to see if a NetID already exists for your organization. If so, they can help you get the password reset so you can use it again. If you know your organization has a UNM NetID, but you can not remember the password, contact the Student Activities Center so they can help you reset the password. In order to get a NetID for your club, or to change the password for an existing club, YOU MUST BE CHARTERED FOR THE CURRENT ACADEMIC YEAR.
Student Organization NetIDs are requested using the self service program at Help.UNM. Use our step by step instructions (Click Here) or go to the IT webpage for more information on submitting the form. The online form includes the option to ask for additional services, such as a web site, as part of the same ticket. The person requesting the account should be an officer in the Chartered Student Organization registered with the Student Activities Center. The Director of the Student Activities Center will confirm the officer and the chartering status of the Student Organization before their Net ID/Website Space is approved.
