for scholarships based on merit and/or need for beginning freshmen.
Pay particular attention to deadlines and requirements. Also, you must apply for admissions to UNM to be considered for any merit scholarship. Merit scholarships are based on any number of criteria including items such as academic performance and leadership potential. Deadlines vary for these programs. Please note that these programs are very competitive and the criteria listed for these scholarships represent the minimum requirements to be considered and do not guarantee an award.
