Student Health & Counseling (SHAC)

"It does a student body good!"

UNM SHAC (formerly known as the UNM Student Health Center) is located on main campus north of Johnson Center and across the mall from (east of) the Student Union Building. For a map, see Location / Parking.

SHAC provides quality health and counseling services to all UNM students to foster student success. Fees charged at SHAC are much lower than community rates. SHAC is funded in part by student activity fees.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. SHAC is closed from 8 to 9 am on Tuesdays. (Click here for Hours for the Allergy & Immunization Clinic.)

SHAC is closed on all official UNM holidays (and campus closures due to weather/unforeseen circumstances).
