The next step was to bring in a layer representing the water table. This was interpolated from the well data. I randomly selected the date March 1, 2007 at midnight. Water elevation data was only available to me for three wells and thus the water table does not cover the entire soil model. The figures below show the results. The top one is shown correctly oriented in space, just as the figure shown in the “creation of the model link”, while the bottom figure is rotated to better illustrate the water table layer.
