This is my preliminary model of a soil profile based on interpolation between 5 wells in the Rio Grande Bosque just south of Alameda Boulevard.  Each of the eleven layers represents a different soil type (or a different occurrence of the same soil type).  The layers are based on interpolation between the 5 wells.  The blue layer is the water table elevation on a specific date.  Notice how the water table layer is crossing through soil types.
