Prospective freshmen and undergraduate students transferring from another educational institution must apply through Admissions. Transfer students should allow ample time for Admissions to evaluate transcripts/tranfer coursework. Departmental personnel cannot evaluate undergraduate coursework until it has been processed by Admissions. Prospective MA/PhD students must apply through Admissions. Students who already have an undergraduate degree and would like to enroll in 6 hours or fewer of sociology graduate coursework may do so in Non-Degree status. Those who intend on later applying for regular admission into the graduate program should contact the Sociology graduate advisor, Dr. Andrew Schrank (277-1295; schrank@unm.edu). Students who have previously been admitted to the MA/PhD program and wish to resume study should contact the Sociology graduate advisor, Dr. Andrew Schrank (277-1295; schrank@unm.edu) for options on reapplication/readmission. |
