The School of Engineering, the Chemical and Nuclear Engineering Department and the Computer Science Department are located in Farris Engineering, building #119 on the campus map.

Civil Engineering is located in Tapy Hall, which is building #118.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Building is #46.

The Mechanical Engineering Building is #122.

Deans Office Parking

The Deans Office has two reserved parking spaces – see B50&B78 map (PDF).

To reach the B50 parking space, which is just east of Farris Engineering Center:

From the Yale Blvd/Central Ave. entrance to campus:

Turn left to travel west on Redondo Road and turn right immediately after Regener Hall/Physics Building into the small parking area.

From the Martin Luther King/University entrance to campus:

Turn right on Redondo Road. Immediately after Farris Engineering, turn left into the small parking area.

To reach the B78 parking space, which is just north of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building:

From the Yale Blvd/Central Ave. entrance to campus:

Turn left to travel west on Redondo Road and immediately past the Martin Luther King intersection, take a right turn into the parking lot. Go straight, then take a right, and another right so you are parking behind the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, near the construction fence.

From the Martin Luther King/University entrance to campus:

Take a left and an immediate right turn into the parking lot. Go straight, then take a right, and another right so you are parking behind the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, near the construction fence.

Please contact the Dean’s Office about guest parking (505-277-5512). Cars that are parked without authorization risk being ticketed or towed.

The UNM campus map also shows parking spaces, including Visitor Parking across from the UNM Bookstore and a Visitor Lot off Redondo near Johnson Gym. There are also some public lots and metered parking in the areas immediately surrounding the campus.

Directions to Campus

From Albuquerque International Sunport Airport:

Leaving the Airport - heading north on Sunport Blvd.
Right on Gibson Blvd – heading east.
Left on Carlisle Blvd – heading north.
Left on Central Ave – heading west.
Right on Yale Blvd – heading north. This will dead end quickly.
Right on Redondo Rd – heading east.
Parking available at:

• Cornell Parking Structure on north side of Redondo Rd
• “A” Parking lot on south side of Redondo Rd
• “E” Parking lot on south east corner of Redondo Rd

Take San Mateo South Exit 161.
Left on San Mateo Blvd – heading south.
Right on Lomas Blvd – heading west.
Left on Girard Blvd – heading south.
Right on Campus Blvd – heading west. You will come to a 4-way stop.
Left on Redondo Rd – heading south.
Parking available at:

• “E” Parking lot on south east corner of Redondo Rd
• “A” Parking lot on south side of Redondo Rd
• Cornell Parking Structure on north side of Redondo

Merge onto I-25 heading South towards Belen.
Take the Dr. Martin Luther King Exit.
Left on Dr. Martin Luther King – heading east.
Go past Oak St and University Blvd. You will now be on the UNM campus.
Right on Redondo Rd – heading south. This will curve and head east.
East on Redondo, go through the stop sign at Yale/Redondo.
Parking available at:

• “E” Parking lot on south east corner of Redondo Rd
• “A” Parking lot on south side of Redondo Rd
• Cornell Parking Structure on north side of Redondo

Take the Dr. Martin Luther King Exit.
Left on Dr. Martin Luther King – heading east.
Go past Oak St and University Blvd. You will now be on the UNM campus.
Right on Redondo Rd – heading south. This will curve and head east.
East on Redondo, go through the stop sign at Yale/Redondo.
