9-11-08 -- Faculty of the Civil Engineering department donated over 200 textbooks worth approximately $25,000 to be distributed to various institutions in Afghanistan. The textbook drive is part of collaboration between the American Society of Civil Engineers and the US Department of Defense who will deliver the textbooks.
