Students line up for free green chile stew as part of UNM annual Welcome Back Days tradition.
The weeklong annual tradition welcoming students back to campus runs through Friday, Aug. 27 with f.ree food, live entertainment and a host of great information. Free food is served beginning at 12 noon until it is gone. The Welcome Back Days schedule includes the President’s Ice Cream Social on Monday, watermelon on Tuesday, green chile stew on Wednesday, pizza on Thursday and hot dogs on Friday. Stop by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the information booths and to take part in this great UNM tradition.
