Engineering Student Services administers most of the scholarships for graduate students. These SOE scholarships could help supplement graduate level fellowships or assistantships, which are offered by SOE departments. These opportunities include research assistants (RA), graduate assistants (GA), teaching assistants (TA), and project assistants (PA), which help graduate students cover the cost of tuition and fees, and in many cases, may provide additional monthly stipends to help cover the cost of room and board and other general expenses. Other scholarships and funding are offered through the University of New Mexico's Office of Graduate Studies, Student Financial Aid Office, and Scholarship Office.
