UNM freshmen are students who are just beginning their academic career at UNM. If they meet the admission requirements, they are admitted directly into the School of Engineering as a Pre Major (general engineering) and begin working on their required courses for admission to their degree granting department. Typically, if a beginning Freshman is eligible to take Math 123 (Trigonometry) AND Math 150 (Pre-calculus) based on their ACT or SAT math scores, they are eligible for direct admission to the Engineering Student Services premajor program.
To begin your studies in the School of Engineering, you will need to review several factors.
