New Mexico Engineering Transfer Module

The New Mexico Engineering Transfer Module is designed to provide students at New Mexico's colleges and universities a set of courses that will articulate into the four-year engineering programs at the University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, and New Mexico Tech.  NM four-year universities offer over ten different engineering disciplines (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mining engineering, etc.) each with its own distinct freshman/sophomore curriculum, making it impossible to create a single transfer module that will articulate to all engineering programs.  Even within a single discipline, for example electrical engineering, each four-year school has a different curriculum during its first two years.

Students interested in transferring to UNM engineering programs are encouraged to contact engineering or computer science advisors at UNM early in their careers. Students following this module will complete the first two years of their engineering curriculum before transferring to UNM provided that the entire module is offered at the students' original campus.
