For over 50 years, we have pursued excellence in academics and clinical services. Our mission is to support the missions of the University and the College of Arts and Sciences by:

creating and disseminating knowledge in the academic discipline of communication sciences and disorders and in collaboration with related disciplines,
pursuing excellence in clinical services as an applied component of students' education, as a component of research endeavors, and as a benefit to the community,
increasing the participation of culturally diverse populations in our disciplines and preparing our students to be leaders in a multicultural and multilingual society.
