SPEECH-LANGUAGE-HEARING CENTER

The UNM Speech-Language-Hearing Center logged over 2000 client visits in the past year. Clients of all ages are seen at the Center. Speech and language disorders and differences that are regularly seen include accent modification, aphasia, apraxia of speech, articulation, auditory processing disorders, aural rehabilitation, autism spectrum disorders, brain injury rehabilitation, dysarthria due to Parkinson Disease and other neurological disorders, language delay, stuttering, transgendered speech, and voice disorders.
