Amy T. Neel, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, Associate Professor Dr. Neel received her master's degree from the University of Oklahoma, spent ten years as a clinical speech-language pathologist, and received her Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1998. Her teaching interests include acoustics, anatomy and other speech science topics. She recently received an ASHA Foundation grant to pursue her research in perceptual vowel identification and is particularly interested in speech perception by hearing aid users.
