Dr. Palmer received her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College in 1984. After many years of clinical work, she returned to school and received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 1998. Her research, teaching and clinical interests are in voice and swallowing disorders.
