Some friends and I recently made the trip to the Spiral Jetty at Rozel Point in the Great Salt Lake. It's an easy journey, if you don't mind a few miles of dirt road. The Spiral Jetty was created by Robert Smithson in 1970. The coiled earthwork is approximately 15 feet wide and 1500 feel long. It's a wonderful way to encounter the Great Salt Lake environment.
