At its most basic, an audio slide show is a series of images timed against an audio track. To create a Soundslides project, you'll need both media types ready.
Your images should be located together, in a folder.
Quickstart
1. Click the NEW button, and save the project to your computer.
2. Click the JPG button, and select a folder of JPG files to import
from your hard drive.
3. Click the SND button, and select an MP3 file from your hard drive. AIFF and WAV files can be used if LAME is installed (for more information, click here).
4. The main editing interface should open after the audio and images are imported.
Note: Both the audio and the images have to be imported before the editing window will appear.
Once you have begun editing a project:
Click SAVE to save the project.
Click TEST to launch the working edit into a Web browser for preview.
Press EXPORT to create the files you will upload to your Web server. A folder will open containing all of your slide show's files. You can then upload the entire folder and play your slideshow live on the Web. (Soundslides does not do this. You will need an FTP client or other software capable of uploading files and folders to the Web.
For more information, all you have to do is pull up soundslides.com, go to support, and select the ‘Users Manual’ for FAQ and online tutorials that walk you through each step in creating a soundslide, uploading it to the web and posting it to the web, blog etc.
