Handout 10: The Contract
The contract assures both you and me that we agree on what your responsibilities are for the web zine project. Because it's hard for you to discern just what you'll be doing before we begin, the contract is best addressed after people have actually begun on their projects. Here's how it works. I provide a template for the contract, and you fill in the blanks. I look over what you've filled in, make additions or modifications, and hand it back to you with my OK on it. The contract proves useful in clarifying misunderstandings about your jobs and in getting you to attend to due dates carefully. Completing the contract is part of your participation grade.
