To participate in onTRAC, students must be enrolled full-time at the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus and submit a completed SSS application form. For admission to this program, students must meet certain criteria set forth by the U.S. Department of Education:
- U.S. citizenship or residency requirements
- Need for academic support
- Income qualification (as described by the U.S. Department of Education guidelines)
- First-generation college student status (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)
- Disability (documented physical or learning disability)
To gain the full benefits of being a student member of the SSS, participants will be required to make a commitment to the program. This means all members must:
- Attend an SSS orientation meeting at the beginning of the fall and spring semester
- Meet with an assigned SSS advisor a minimum of three times per semester
- Participate in at least one SSS sponsored event or social
- Participate in at least two SSS sponsored workshops
