PRECIS #1

Please choose any one of the following topics, research the current state of affairs for the topic using the Internet, and present a 10-15 minute oral presentation. Visuals and realtime Internet connectivity are not required but add considerably to the presentation.

Depending on how many students are in the class, there is a risk of several students choosing the same topic. Usually this is not a problem because the amount of available information on any topic allows for unique perspectives.
