Xiang Sun, Ph.D.

Dr. Sun received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2018. He received his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.E. degree in Computer Science both from the Hebei University of Engineering (HUE), Hebei, China in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico. His research interests include mobile edge computing, cloud computing, Internet of Things, wireless networks, big-data-driven networking, smart grid networks, and green communications and computing.

 
Liangkun Yu

Mr. Yu received his M.S. and B.S. degree in Communications Engineering from Fuzhou University, Fuzhou, China in 2017 and 2014, respectively. He started his doctorial study at the Dr. Sun's lab at the University of New Mexico in 2019 Fall. His research interests include wireless networks, Internet of Things,  and machine learning.

Rana Abdulrahman M Albelaihi

Mrs. Albelaihi received her M.S. and B.S. degrees in computer science from Tennessee State University, Tennessee, USA in 2014 and 2016, respectively. She started her doctorial studies at the Dr. Sun¨s lab at the University of New Mexico in Summer 2020. Her research interests include networking and edge/green computing.

Zeinab Akhavan

Ms. Akhavan received her B.S. degree in Information Technology from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in 2015.She received her M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of New Mexico, New Mexico, USA, in 2019. She started her doctorial studies at the Dr. Sun¨s lab at the University of New Mexico in Fall 2020. Her research interests include mobile edge computing, Internet of Things, and machine learning.

Tianrun Zhang

Mr. Zhang received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, New Mexico, USA in 2019. He started his doctorial study at the Dr. Sun's lab at the University of New Mexico in 2020 Spring. His research interests include free space optical communications, wireless networks, and Internet of Things.
